Community Centering Prayer ’25

First Presbyterian Church is pleased to announce that we are able to offer a ‘quiet’ place to the group that has been practicing Centering Prayer for some years. This ecumenical group meets from 1 p.m. till 2:30 p.m. for a brief introduction followed by a 20 minute silent sit. We follow that time up with a variety of scripture or lessons associated with the practice of Centering Prayer. Several of us are just learning the practice while some have the wisdom of experience, so all are welcome to join us on Wednesday afternoons.
