Who We Are
We are committed to following Christ’s commandment to love God and to love our neighbors.
The Rev. Bruce McBurney is our minister, and Christina Wenning is our music director.
We worship in a mostly traditional way, embracing the great hymns of the faith and sometimes contemporary hymns. We study and pray and reach across the world with missions. In our own community we help with LIFT-UP, One Square Meal, Yampah Mountain High School’s Teen Parent Program and much more.
In Gather Round, on the first and third Wednesday evenings we enjoy dinner, games, and informal worship with all who’d like to join us in the fellowship hall. When possible, we promote musical events in our historic, acoustically excellent sanctuary. The Colorado Springs Children’s Chorale, High Country Sinfonia, Voices of Praise, and other groups have performed here.
We are led by the session, a group of six ruling elders who are elected by the congregation.
